GPON Access Port Management(port dba surplus-assignment)

port dba surplus-assignment(gpon)

Function

This command is used to set the pre-allocation function of the remaining bandwidth for a GPON port.

Format

port dba surplus-assignment portid surplus-assignment-switch

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
portid Indicates the ID of a GPON port.. Please see Differences Between Shelves.
surplus-assignment-switch
Indicates the pre-allocation function of the remaining bandwidth. Options: enable and disable.
  • Enable: Enables the pre-allocation function of the remaining bandwidth.
  • Disable: Disables the pre-allocation function of the remaining bandwidth.

Usage Guidelines

  • Run the config command to enter the global config mode, and then run the interface gpon command to enter the GPON mode.
  • Currently, only the H802GPFD, H803GPFD, H806GPBD, H806GPBH, H801GPMD, H805GPFD, H807GPBD, H807GPBH, and H801XGBD boards support this command.

Example

To enable the pre-allocation function of the remaining bandwidth for GPON port 0, do as follows:
huawei(config-if-gpon-0/13)#port dba surplus-assignment                    
{ portid<U><0,15> }:0   
{ surplus-assignment-switch<K><enable,disable> }:enable                       
                                                                                
  Command:                                                                      
          port dba surplus-assignment 0 enable                                         

System Response

  • The system does not display any message after this command is executed successfully.
