Function

This command is used to clear the performance statistics of the Ethernet frames of a specified GPON port. Before collecting the performance statistics of the Ethernet frames within a period of time, ensure that the original statistics of the GPON port are reset to zero. The items that can be queried by running the display gpon statistics ethernet command. After the performance statistics are cleared, the system collects the performance statistics again.
NOTE:
The performance statistics of the ethernet frames of the specified GPON port cannot be restored after being cleared. Confirm the action before using the command.

Format

reset gpon statistics ethernet frameid/slotid portid

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
frameid/slotid Indicates the shelf ID and slot ID of the GPON port whose performance statistics of Ethernet frames are to be cleared. Enter "/" between the shelf and slot IDs. Please see Differences Between Shelves.
portid Indicates the number of the GPON port whose performance statistics of Ethernet frames are to be cleared. Please see Differences Between Shelves.

Usage Guidelines

  • The function of the reset gpon statistics ethernet command and reset statistics port ethernet(gpon) is the same.
  • This command is used to clear the performance statistics of the Ethernet frames of a specified GPON port. You can run the reset gpon statistics gem command to clear the performance statistics of the GPON encapsulation mode(GEM) frames of a specified GPON port.

Example

To clear the Ethernet frame statistics for port 0/3/0, do as follows:
huawei(config)#reset gpon statistics ethernet
