GPON Access Port Management(reset statistics port ethernet)

reset statistics port ethernet(gpon)

Function

This command is used to clear the statistics of Ethernet frames on a gigabit-capable passive optical network (GPON) port. After the statistics are cleared, the system collects the statistics again. The statistics cannot be restored after being cleared.

Format

reset statistics port ethernet portid

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
portid Indicates the number of the GPON port whose statistics are to be cleared. Please see Differences Between Shelves.

Usage Guidelines

Run the config command to enter global config mode, and then run the interface gpon command to enter GPON mode.

Example

In distributed mode, to clear the statistics of Ethernet frames on GPON port 0/3/0, do as follows:
huawei(config-if-gpon-0/3)#reset statistics port ethernet                                   
{ portid<U><0,7> }:0

          reset statistics port ethernet 0
  Clear statistics successfully  
In profile mode, to clear the statistics of Ethernet frames on GPON port 0/3/0, do as follows:

          reset statistics port ethernet 0

System Response

  • The system displays the message "Clear statistics successfully" after the statistics are cleared successfully in distributed mode.
  • The system does not display any message after the statistics are cleared successfully in profile mode.
