Usage Guidelines
- There are three VDSL management modes, namely, TR129 mode, TI config mode,
and TR165 mode.
- TR129 mode corresponds to the TR129 protocol.
- TR165 mode corresponds to the TR165 protocol.
- In TR129 mode, each VDSL line is configured with a line template that includes a line profile and a channel profile.
- In TI config mode, each VDSL line is configured with the following six
profiles (exclusive of the VDSL line template) :
- Spectrum profile
- DPBO profile
- UPBO profile
- Service profile
- SNR margin profile
- Delay INP profile
- In TR165 mode, each VDSL line configured with the following ten profiles:
- Data rate profile
- Spectrum profile
- DPBO profile
- UPBO profile
- Mode-specific PSD profile
- RFI profile
- SNR margin profile
- Delay INP profile
- Virtual noise profile
- INM profile
- SOS profile
- There are three ADSL management modes, namely, rfc2662 mode, rfc4706 mode,
and tr165 mode.
- rfc2662 mode corresponds to the RFC2662 protocol.
- rfc4706 mode corresponds to the RFC4706 protocol.
- tr165 mode corresponds to the RFC5650 and TR165 protocols. Each ADSL line is
configured with the following ten profiles:
- Data rate profile
- Spectrum profile
- DPBO profile
- UPBO profile
- Mode-specific PSD profile
- RFI profile
- SNR margin profile
- Delay INP profile
- Virtual noise profile
- INM profile
- SOS profile
Example
To query the current xDSL management modes of the system, do as follows:

System Response
- The system displays the queried result when the command runs successfully.
- The following table describes the parameters in response to the
display xdsl mode command.
Parameter Description ADSL Current mode Indicates the current ADSL management mode of the system. VDSL Current mode Indicates the current VDSL management mode of the system. - For more information about the error message that the system displays against a command entered with incorrect syntax
