Function
This command is used to clear the performance statistics of an ONT
GPON encapsulation mode (GEM) port or the multicast packets. Before collecting
the performance statistics of an ONT GEM port within a period of time, ensure
that the original statistics of the ONT GEM port are reset to zero. The items
that can be queried by running the display statistics ont-gem
command. After the performance statistics are cleared, the system collects the
performance statistics again.
NOTE:
The performance statistics of the ONT GEM port cannot be restored after being
cleared. Confirm the action before using the
command.
Format
In distributed mode and gigabit-capable passive optical network (GPON)
mode:
reset statistics ont-gem portid gemportid
reset statistics ont-gem portid ontid multicast
In distributed mode and global config mode:
reset statistics ont-gem frameid/slotid portid ontid { gemportid gemport-id | multicast }
In profile mode and GPON mode:
reset statistics ont-gem portid ontid { gemindex gemindex | multicast }
In profile mode and global config mode:
reset statistics ont-gem frameid/slotid portid ontid { gemindex gemindex | multicast }
reset statistics ont-gem portid gemportid
reset statistics ont-gem portid ontid multicast
In distributed mode and global config mode:
reset statistics ont-gem frameid/slotid portid ontid { gemportid gemport-id | multicast }
In profile mode and GPON mode:
reset statistics ont-gem portid ontid { gemindex gemindex | multicast }
In profile mode and global config mode:
reset statistics ont-gem frameid/slotid portid ontid { gemindex gemindex | multicast }
Parameters
Parameter | Description | Value |
---|---|---|
frameid/slotid | Indicates the shelf ID and slot ID of the GPON port for which the GEM port whose performance statistics are to be cleared. Enter a slash (/) between the shelf and slot IDs. | Please see Differences Between Shelves. |
portid | Indicates the ID of the GPON port to which the GEM port whose performance statistics are to be cleared belongs. | Please see Differences Between Shelves. |
ontid | Indicates the ID of the ONT port to which the GEM port whose performance statistics are to be cleared belongs. | Numeral type. Range: varies with the board type. |
gemportid gemport-id | Indicates the ID of the GEM port whose performance statistics are to be cleared. This parameter is available only in distributed mode. | Numeral type. Range: 128-3999. |
gemindex gemindex | Indicates the ID of the GEM whose performance statistics are to be cleared. This parameter is available only in profile mode. | Numeral type. Range: 0-1023. |
multicast | Clears the performance statistics of multicast GEM port. | - |
Usage Guidelines
- Run the config command to enter global config mode, and then run the interface gpon command to enter GPON mode.
- To switch the xPON mode, run the diagnose command in privilege mode or global config mode to enter diagnose mode, and then run thexpon mode switch-to command. After the switching, reset the device for the mode to take effect.
- Run the display ont info command to query the state of ONT.
- The GEM port whose performance statistics are to be cleared by this command must exist. You can run the display ont info command to query the existed GEM port.
Example
In distributed mode and global config mode, to clear the performance
statistics of GEM port 128 of ONT 0 connected to port 0/3/0, do as follows:
huawei(config)#reset statistics ont-gem { frameid/slotid<S><Length 3-15> }:0/3 { portid<U><0,15> }:0 { ontid<U><0,127> }:0 { gemportid<K>|multicast<K> }:gemportid { gemport-id<U><128,3999> }:128 Command: reset statistics ont-gem 0/3 0 0 gemportid 128 Clear statistics successfullyIn profile mode and global config mode, to clear the performance statistics of GEM port 128 of ONT 0 connected to port 0/3/0, do as follows:
huawei(config)#reset statistics ont-gem { frameid/slotid<S><Length 3-15> }:0/3 { portid<U><0,15> }:0 { ontid<U><0,127> }:0 { gemindex<K>|multicast<K>}:gemindex { gemindex<U><0,1023> }:128 Command: reset statistics ont-gem 0/3 0 0 gemindex 128
System Response
- The system does not display any message after the statistics are cleared successfully in profile mode.
- The system displays the message "Clear statistics successfully" after the statistics are cleared successfully in distributed mode.
- For more information about the error message that the system displays against a command entered with incorrect syntax
