Function

This command is used to modify the DSCP-to-802.1p priority mapping profile bound to a GPON ONT port. After this command is executed successfully, the GPON ONT port is bound to the new DSCP-to-802.1p priority mapping profile. The parameters in the new profile take effect immediately after the commit command is executed. Using the new profile, the ONT sets different 802.1p priorities for the received packets according to the DSCP fields in the packets. The system then carries out packet scheduling according to the 802.1p priorities.

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
eth	Indicates the ONT Ethernet port.	-
moca	Indicates the ONT Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA) port. The MoCA port is a standard Ethernet port of North America.	-
iphost	Indicates the ONT IPHOST port. The IPHOST port is a virtual port on the ONT and is used for the communication between the voice chip of the ONT and the GMAC chip. To configure a voice port, use this parameter.	-
vdsl	Indicates the ONT VDSL port.	-
ont-portid	Indicates the ONT port ID.	Numeral type. Range: 1-8.
dscp-mapping-table-index	Indicates the index of the DSCP-to-802.1p priority mapping profile. To bind the DSCP-to-802.1p priority mapping profile to the ONT port by index, use this parameter. You can run the dscp-to-pbits mapping table command to set this parameter.	Numeral type. Range: MCUD/MCUD1 board, SCUN/SCUK board and SCUH board: 0-49 other board: 0-3

Usage Guidelines

Run the config command to enter global config mode, and then run the ont-srvprofile gpon command to enter ONT service profile mode.

Example

In ONT service profile 10, to set the Ethernet port 1 to use DSCP profile index 2, do as follows:

System Response

• The system does not display any message after the DSCP profile bound to the GPON ONT port. You can the run display ont-srvprofile command to query the DSCP profile bound to the port.
