Function

This command is used to query the interval for renewing the ONT key. When you need to query the interval for renewing the ONT key, run this command.

Usage Guidelines

• If the packets transmitted between the board and the ONT terminal are in encrypted text, the two parties need to encrypt and decrypt the packets based on the encryption key. The key needs to be renewed at intervals to improve the system security.
• Run the gpon ont-password-renew command to set the interval for renewing the ONT key of a PON port, and then run this command to check whether the interval is set successfully.

Example

To query the interval for renewing the ONT key, do as follows:

huawei#display gpon ont-password-renew                                  
  ONT password renew interval is(unit:m): 10 

System Response

• The system displays the queried result when the command runs successfully.
• The following table describes the parameters in response to the display gpon ont-password-renew command.
  

  Parameter	Description
  ONT password renew interval is(unit:m)	Indicates the interval for renewing the ONT key. Unit: minute. When the interval for renewing the ONT key is set, the system displays the set interval. When the interval for renewing the ONT key is not set, the system displays "-". When the renewing the ONT key is disabled, the system displays "Disable".
