ONT Voice Service Management----display ont emulational call status

Function

This command is used to query the current status of the call emulation test on the POTS port of the ONT.

Format

display ont emulational call status frameid/slotid/portid ontid ont-potsid

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
frameid/slotid/portid	Indicates the subrack ID, slot ID, and port ID of the ONT to be queried.	Please see Differences Between Shelves.
ontid	Indicates the ID of the ONT to be queried.	ontid: numeral type. Range: varies with the board type.
ont-potsid	Indicates the POTS port ID of the ONT to be queried.	ont-potsid: numeral type. Range: 1-255.

Usage Guidelines

• Before running this command, run the config command to enter the global config mode, and then run the test command to enter the test mode.
• The query result is available only after you run the ont emulational call command to start the ONT call emulation test and the emulation test is ongoing. Otherwise, the system displays an error message.
• The display simulation call ont command is the optimized version of the display ont emulational call status command. You are advised to use the optimized command display simulation call ont. The display ont emulational call status command is still retained to ensure the compatibility between the earlier and later versions.

Example

To query the status of the call emulation test on POTS port 1 of ONT 0 connected to GPON port 0/3/0, do as follows:

System Response

• The system displays the queried result when the command runs successfully.
• The following table describes the parameters in response to the display ont emulational call command.

  Parameter	Description
  F/S/P	Indicates the subrack ID, slot ID, and port ID of the PON port connected to the ONT.
  ONT-ID	Indicates the ONT ID. It uniquely identifies an ONT of the PON port.
  ONT-POTSID	Indicates the ID of a POTS port on the ONT.
  Test type	Indicates the test type. Options: caller emulation call test and callee emulation call test.
  Current status	Indicates the current status of the current call emulation test. Options: Idle: The port is idle. Off-hook: The caller or callee picks up the phone. Dial tone: The dial tone is played for the caller (unique status in the caller emulation test). Receiving: The caller is receiving digits (unique status in the caller emulation test). Receive end: The caller completes receiving digits (unique status in the caller emulation test). Ringing-back: The caller hears the ring back tone (unique status in the caller emulation test). Ringing: The phone is ringing (unique status in the callee emulation test). Connected: The call is ongoing. Busy tone: The caller hears the busy tone (unique status in the caller emulation test). On-hook: The caller or callee hangs up the phone. Test end (Waiting to stop the emulation call): The emulation test is ended (Waiting to stop the emulation call). Other: other unrecognized states.
