How to Adding an IUA Link Set?

This topic describes how to add an IUA link set. When configuring the VoIP ISDN service(thunder-link supply GPFD, GPBD), you need to configure the IUA link to carry the Q.931 call signaling. Before adding an IUA link, you must add a corresponding link set. Otherwise, the link cannot be added.

Context

  • The system supports the configuration of a maximum of IUA link sets.
  • After a link set is configured successfully, it is in the deactivated state by default.

Procedure

  1. In global config mode, run the commandsigtran to enter the Sigtran mode.
  2. Run the iua-linkset add command to add an IUA link set.
  3. You can run the display iua-linkset attribute command to check whether the configured IUA link set information is the same as the data plan.

Example

Assume that the link set ID is 0, working mode of the link set is active/standby mode, pending duration is 20s, prefix of the IID is b/, IID generation mode is using the binary value that is automatically generated in ffsspp mode, namely, parameter 2. To add such an IUA link set, do as follows:
huawei(config)#sigtran

IP Routing Basic Commands on debugging rm backup

Function

Using the debugging rm backup command, you can enable the debugging of RM backup.
Using the undo debugging rm backup command, you can disable the debugging of RM backup.
By default, the debugging of RM backup is disabled.

Format

debugging rm backup
undo debugging rm backup

Parameters

None

Modes

Privilege mode, GPBD,GPFD,ETHB

Level

Administrator level

Usage Guidelines

In general, if a standby board is inserted, batch backup is generated. After batch backup is generated, the real-time backup is generated if batch backup does not break. The batch backup covers only a part of data. The other parts of data are sent to the standby board through real-time backup, such as RM interface information.

The Key Technologies of OLT board

This topic introduces the key technologies of the product.
Prominent Network Protection Function

  •  Supports the MSTP protocol, featuring the loop protection function.
  • Supports the RRPP protocol, implementing rapid switching in a ring network.
  • Supports the LACP and inter-board aggregation features, increasing the bandwidth and

providing the protection function.

  • Supports bidirectional forwarding detection (BFD), improving the reliability of IP applications (such as real-time voice service) and providing support to the network stability for service providers.
  • Supports the smart link application, which implements the redundancy backup and quick migration of active and standby links, ensuring the high reliability and high-speed convergence.
  • Supports Type B redundancy protection for the GPON, ensuring that the services are not interrupted when the backbone optical fiber is faulty.
  • Supports GPON(GPBD) Type C redundancy protection, improving the device reliability.

Superior QoS Function
The superior QoS can guarantee an expected service level with respect to bandwidth, latency,
jitter, and packet loss in a communication network.

  • Tags the data and network management streams with different ToS/DSCP priorities, thereby providing a prioritized forwarding mechanism based on Layer 3
  • Tags the data and network management streams with different 802.1p priorities, thereby providing a prioritized forwarding mechanism based on Layer 2
  • Supports Layers 2-7 traffic classification based on the port, VLAN, MAC address, IP address, TCP port number, or UDP port number.
  • Supports priority control (based on the port, MAC address, IP address, TCP port number, or UDP port number), priority mapping and modification based on the ToS field and 802.1p, and DSCP differentiated services
  • Supports bandwidth control (based on the port, MAC address, IP address, TCP port number or UDP port number) with a control granularity of 64 kbit/s
  • Supports three queue scheduling modes: priority queue (PQ), weighted round robin (WRR), and PQ+WRR.
  • Supports the following QoS capabilities based on the flow rule:
           – Packet filtering
               – Redirect
                 – Mirror
                   – Traffic statistics collection
                     – Traffic shaping
                       – Bandwidth control
                         – Priority tag
              • Supports hierarchical quality of service (HQoS), which guarantees the multi-service
              • bandwidths for multiple users: The first level guarantees the user bandwidths, and the
              • second level guarantees the bandwidths for the services of each user. This ensures that the
              • guaranteed bandwidths absolutely pass and the burst bandwidths pass fairly.
              IPv6
IPv6 radically solves the problem of IP address shortage. Moreover, IPv6 has the following advantages: It is easy to deploy, compatible with various applications, easy for IPv4 networks to transit to IPv6 networks.
              • Supports the IPv6 address management and assignment.
              • Supports the IPv6 stack and IPv6 host function.
              • Supports the IPv6 route.
              • Supports the IPv6 QoS and security, guarantee the security of the IPv6 network.
              • Supports the IPv6 layer 2 transparent transmission.
              • Supports the IPv6 multicast. By using IPv6 multicast technologies, the network device can
              • manage, control, and forward IPv6 video services and in this way meets carriers'
              • requirements for provisioning IPv6 video services.

              Green and Power Conservation
The MA5600T/MA5603T meets the efficiency requirements of the European Commission CoC(Code of Conduct). The energy-efficient design ensures quiet operation and optimal heat dissipation, reduces the impact on the environment, and lowers operational costs.
              • Uses chipsets with the highest density and integration in the industry.
              • Uses high-density hardware to improve port energy efficiency.
              • Supports independent shutdown for service ports.
              • Supports manual power-on or power-off for service boards. (A faulty board can be remotely
              • powered off using the CLI or NMS in the equipment room of a site.)
              • Supports refined board power saving.
              • Supports stepless speed adjustment for fans based on component temperature.
              • Supports fan speed control through host software.
              • Supports L2 low-power consumption and L3 standby status for digital subscriber line
              • (DSL) service ports.
              • Automatically shuts down vectoring components when the vectoring function is disabled.
              • Automatically starts the vectoring components when the vectoring function is enabled.
              • These functions dynamically reduce power consumption.
