ipdr session activate

Function

This command is used to activate a specific session or all existing sessions. After the command is successfully executed, the session can report statistics information according to its associated profile statistics information and in a certain mode.

Format

ipdr session activate { all | id }

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
all	Indicates all existing sessions.	–
id	Indicates a session uniquely.	Numeral type. Range: 1-255.

Modes

Global config mode, MA5683T, MA5680T, MA5608T

Level

Administrator level

Usage Guidelines

Before activating a session, ensure that all associated items (including template, collection mode, and collector) have been configured for the session. If only some of the associated items have been configured, the activation cannot be performed.

Example

To activate the session, do as follows:

huawei(config)#ipdr session activate
{ all<K>|id<U><1,255> }:1                                                       
                                                                                
  Command:                                                                      
          ipdr session activate 1

To activate all existing sessions, do as follows:

huawei(config)#ipdr session activate
{ all<K>|id<U><1,255> }:all                                                     
                                                                                
  Command:                                                                      
          ipdr session activate all                                             
  Session 1 activated successfully                                              
  Session 2 activated successfully

System Response

• The system does not display any messages after a session is successfully activated.
• The system displays activated sessions after all existing sessions are successfully activated.
