Usage Guidelines

  • Run the config command to enter global config mode, and then run the interface shl command to enter SHDSL mode.
  • After an SHDSL port is deactivated, the connection, which is established when the SHDSL port is activated, between the STU-C and the STU-R is released. If you need to use the SHDSL port to transmit services again, run the activate command to activate this port again.
  • The port that is experiencing a loopback cannot be deactivated.

Example

To deactivate port 0/3/0, do as follows:
huawei(config-if-shl-0/3)#deactivate
{ all<K>|portID<U><0,15> }:0

  Command:
          deactivate 0
huawei(config-if-shl-0/3)#
  Deactivate port 0 successfully

System Response

  • The system displays the message "Deactivate port x successfully" after an SHDSL port is deactivated successfully. "x" indicates the ID of the deactivated port
