Function

This command is used to set the loop line connection mode of xDSL boards. The mode includes 48-board-substitute and normal. Execution of this command forcibly resets VDSL boards.

NOTICE:

Execution of this command forcibly resets VDSL boards that support the loop line connection mode. The board reset leads to service interruption.

Format

xdsl board-connector-mapping mode

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
mode	Indicates the loop line connection mode of xDSL boards.	Enumerated type. Options: 48-board-substitute normal Default value: normal.

Example

To set the loop line connection mode of xDSL boards to 48-board-substitute, do as follows:

huawei(config)#xdsl board-connector-mapping 48-board-substitute
  Warning: VDSL board will be reset, It will take several minutes.
  Are you sure to proceed? (y/n)[n]:y

System Response

• The system displays the message "VDSL board will be reset, It will take several minutes. " when this command is executed.
