xdsl reverse-powering mode

Function

This command is used to configure the reverse power supply mode of the device.

Format

xdsl reverse-powering mode { currentport | anyport }

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
currentport Indicates that the power supply mode is current port. When the current port supplies power, ports that do not supply power will be disabled and services on the ports will be interrupted. A port is enabled only after the system detects that the port starts to supply power. -
anyport Indicates that the power supply mode is anyport. In this mode, all ports are enabled and services on the ports are running properly. -

Usage Guidelines

  • The power supply mode is current port by default.
  • The switching of power supply mode will interrupt some services on some ports.

Example

To configure the power supply mode to anyport, do as follows:
huawei(config)#xdsl reverse-powering mode
{ anyport<K>|currentport<K> }:anyport

  Command:
          xdsl reverse-powering mode anyport
  Warning: this operation will interrupt services on some ports.
  Are you sure to continue? (y/n)[n]:y

System Response

  • The system does not display any message after the command is executed successfully.
